These words resonate perfectly with what we, as Team Eco Advance, stand for. Eco Advance, is a team of Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) students from Taylor’s University, Malaysia. We are a team that came together with the united vision of applying our collective knowledge on a global platform in order to gain practical experience on running a construction company. With the skills and experience gained, we believe that it will prepare us to be the future leaders at the top of the industry.

Finance Manager - Maxwell Lim
I am honoured and privileged to be the leader and the financial manager in the team, a second year student taking Quantity Surveying in Taylor's University. A protagonist who has a strong interest in the construction industry, property development and business enterprise.Being the first team in Malaysia to get into Top 6 finalists in the world is like a dream comes true to us. I enjoy doing great things with great people. This competition enables me to learn more about the construction industry and familiarize myself with the international standard.
Overhead & Estimate Manager - Chong Lih Yen
Currently in my final years, completing my studies. A pragmatist that believes in every odds and possibility. I enjoy taking up risks and challenges and overcoming them while making the most out of it. Joined this competition out of curiosity, always wanted to test my limits to see how far I could go starting from scratch. Always open to any opportunities and try new things out!
Personnel & Construction Manager - Khoh Seek Yan
Final year student studying Quantity Surveying in Taylor’s University. An explorer, like traveling and enjoy learning something about myself and about that place when visiting a new place. Joined this competition to expand my comfort zone and hope to get more opportunities in life.
Bidding manager - Ali Moossajee
I’m a Kenyan student currently in my final year of my undergraduate degree at Taylor’s University. I grew up in a construction family and therefore due to my exposure, developed a natural passion for it. Through my various experiences in university I have taken various leadership opportunities in student organisations that have driven me to wanting to be a leader in my professional life too. I therefore joined this competition as a starting point to achieving my dream of leading an organisation fighting at the top of the construction industry.
As a team, we have worked extremely hard so far in the competition and therefore are extremely excited to be part of the finalists, amongst such great talents from all around the world. We look forward to the upcoming challenge and strive to achieve our best.
We would like to acknowledge Taylor’s University and the Head of School of Architecture, Building and Design for sponsoring us to join the competition and Mr Leong Boon Tik, our beloved lecturer and tutor for our team who led us through to becoming one of the top 6 finalists. We are proud and honoured to be the first team in Malaysia to be the Top 6 Finalist in CIOB GSC in the history since it was launched in 2014.
