Global Student Challenge
Global Student Challenge is an online construction business game open to students across the world, studying an honours course within the built environment.
About Global Student Challenge
Launched in 2014, Global Student Challenge is an annual competition run by the Chartered Institute of Building that provides built environment students with an opportunity to apply their learning to a real-world scenario of running their own virtual construction company.
Competition Timeline
Phase One: Registration
Entry for the competition closes on the 18 February 2022.
Phase Two: Pre-Competition
The Foundation Years of the competition begins on the 31 January 2022. In this phase, your team will be able to access the game software and begin to refine your strategy.
Phase Three: Competition
On the 23 February, the first round of data will be released to all teams. This is the Early Years and will be six rounds of competition, taking place over six weeks.
Phase Four: The GSC Final
The top six teams will be announced April 2022. Due to the on-going situation with COVID-19, the top six teams will be invited to take place in a virtual final week commencing 20 June 2022 (for two weeks).
